Warren Buffett once again the richest man
Turkmenistan News.Net Saturday 11th October, 2008
Billionaire investor Warren Buffett has once again become the richest American, only weeks after Bill Gates was given the title.
Forbes magazine has recalculated the fortunes of some of the 400 wealthiest Americans and has deposed Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, after assessing the effect of thecurrent financial crisis.
Seventeen billionaires on Forbes list have lost more than $1 billion in the past month.
But, Buffett has managed to boost his wealth by $8 billion to $58 billion, pushing Gates down to second place after his fortune fell to $55.5 billion from $57 billion.
Gates had been ranked No. 1 on the Forbes 400 list for the past 15 years with his Microsoft fortune.
Buffett made his money by building his company Berkshire Hathaway into an investment firm with strong management.

Warren Buffett once again the richest man
sorry,Iam the poorest man in the USA.But still can afford peanut and jelly sandwich.Somehow or another I am very happy and free to roam and pay my taxes every year.Even though I could vote for republican or democrates it will not change my status as the poorest in USA.The police will give me a ticket for speeding with my lawn mower.

what US needs is social democracy. What matters is how many Americans are atleast middle class in per capita basis.
For example: there is no bill gates or warren in canada, but are there plenty of homeless in canada.

Well, I’ve never heard the term 'social democracy'. Ideas very close but when put together, does it really make a difference?
To the story, I recently saw the interview Mr. Buffet did with Charlie Rose and really got a good feeling about this man. Wish he could be in politics but I don’t blame him for not wanting to do that with his life. I agree with him - enjoying is everything especially when you have and are giving as much to charity as this man is. Does that help his (nearly) non-existent taxes, to give so much away. Whatever - he is helping in a real way. Why shouldn’t get something in return. That’s what I think.
