Bangladesh issues largest bank note

Bangladesh has introduced new Taka 1000 currency notes.
The notes have proven to be very popular with street vendors in the capital, who have been paying extra to buy the notes.
Dealers of the new have said the Eid period of the Muslim year is a good time for business when most people exchange old notes for new ones.
The dealers charge Taka 10 to 20 as commission for each 1000-taka bill.
