French bank looks at options in Tokyo

French investment bank Natixis, which has been affected badly by the global credit crunch, has decided to slash jobs at its Tokyo branch.
The bank is expected to lose 85 positions out of a staff of 100.
French financial daily La Tribune reported on Saturday that Natixis would close down completely in Tokyo, although the bank has denied this.
Natixis announced earlier this month that it stood to lose up to US$605 million dollars in exposure to alleged fraudulent trades, made by the New York investment manager Bernard Madoff.  Email this story to a friend

NO, French, layoff those Hong Kong’s branches' staffs first, because HK Chief Executive Donald Tsang likes to play Intimacy-or-Sparsity administration. Lately we believe Antony Leung does not smile that much, his funds probably like Fancy Dive, HA ! HA! To leave the Japan’s employees alone for a while, because our American (California) Republican Party is still like to generate capitals from Japanese investments to joint-venture to found the non-union high-speed Hydrofoil/Hovercraft Transportation Company to serve low-fare round-trips from California to Hawaii, Hawaii to California; steering by CAL-VET’s US Navy Marine Corps veterans, let them (US Marine Corps veterans) can have a continuous lifetime employments. If the deal is made, we might consider to order either the American-made or the E.U. made high-speed Hydrofoils and Hovercrafts which can transport 100-200 passengers each trip. If the business is good, then the Hydrofoil/Hovercraft Transportation Company will expand from Hawaii to Japan to Guam. PLUS, American Republican Party is interested to campaign fundraising to generate Japanese capitals to operate our Republican’s offshore oil-drillings. MAKE IT ALOHA !
