KABUL -- Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and visiting U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken exchanged views Thursday on the withdrawal of U.S. troops and the war on terrorism, the office of the Afghan president confirmed.

DHAKA -- Bangladesh's COVID-19 death toll reached a grim milestone Thursday as 94 more people have died from the pandemic, bringing the total fatality to 10,081.
