MUMBAI -- At least 146 people have been rescued while 127 remained missing after a barge drifted into the sea during the cyclonic storm on India's western coast, according to the Indian Navy on Tuesday.

PUL-E-ALAM, Afghanistan -- A total of 12 militants have been confirmed dead as fighting planes struck a Taliban hideout in Azra district of the eastern Logar province on Monday, said an army statement released Tuesday.
