ABU DHABI, 20th October, 2022 (WAM) -- The Emirates Humanitarian City issued a statement announcing the death of an Afghan man on 17th October, 2022, after he suffered from a sudden heart attack.

The city's administration said the deceased, 66-year-old Sayyed Youssef Haleem, was being hosted at the Emirates Humanitarian City.

He was admitted to the hospital on 17th October, 2022, and received first aid care after suffering from a heart attack, but he passed away, as a result, it added.

The administration confirmed that the city coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Afghan Embassy to transport Haleem's body back to his homeland.

It also expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and the Afghan community.
