U.S. loses transition to clean energy with "big, beautiful bill": NYT

Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill is an act of "strategic self-harm" as it marked the moment when "the U.S. pulled back and essentially lost the transition to clean energy," an opinion piece carried by the New York Times argued.

"This bill will make your home hotter, your air-conditioning bill higher, your clean energy job scarcer, America's auto industry weaker," it wrote.
